Love Yourself Thin

It's might sound too good to be true, but it's not. Eating well is only one part of the weight loss equation, but if you are not relaxing, finding joy, and slowing down, your weight loss efforts will fail. The body is not meant to be pushed to the limit, deprived of sleep, and constantly doing a task. We need rest. We need love. Read below, they are in no particular order.

1. Take Your Vitamins- It's something that we all know, but fail to implement regularly. Taking high quality vitamins is an invisible way to love yourself. You may not see a direct result but it IS nourishing your entire body, causing it function more efficiently in order to maintain the things that are important to you in your life.

2. High Quality Chocolate- Since we already love chocolate, and that's not going to stop anytime soon. We should choose the most healthful, best quality we can find (over 70% is the best). Make it a treat, savor ever bite, and do it all guilt free! Chocolate is an expansive food which helps the body to relax. Just Enjoy, when you enjoy you will naturally eat less!

3. Bath time- There is true joy an relaxation inside of a warm tub of water. It is a sacred art form that can be used anywhere, taking less than 10 min if you choose. Think of how supported you feel in water while swimming, it's similar to bathing, the body feels supported, warmed and is able to relax, unwind, and bring peace to your hectic day. Add a 1 cup of oil (sesame, oil, jojoba oil), oatmeal, baking soda, sea salt, or Epsom salt.

4. Rub yourself Down- A nightly self massage is a great way to stimulate your lymph system, improve circulation, connect with your body, and provide it with the love and nourishment that it deserved from a hard days work. Most of us neglect the physical body, but just spending 2-5 min before bed rubbing yourself with oil is a Lovely remedy. My favorite oils are coconut, sesame (Food Grade), and jojoba oils (Body care section).

5. It's Tea time- Tea is not just for the English, and it is not only healthful, but warm, comforting, and a big glass of love that nourishes every cell.

6. Speak the Truth- Affirmations are a great way to remind ourselves how wonderful we are. I put a new one each week on my review mirror. Some of my clients use erasable markers to write it on their mirrors. We deserve to be told everyday how wonderful we are, how beautiful each day is, and how much we are needed in the world. Do it yourself it's more reliable!

7. Cook a great meal- Food is fastest the way to our hearts. Enjoy a great meal prepared by you. Choose a meal that you love, that you feel great about eating a cook it for yourself. Light a candle, dim the lights, and enjoy every bite. No reading, talking on the phone or watching television, just be with yourself and eat!

8. Scrub it down- Use the hot towel scrub to connect with your body and clean the skin.

9. Take yourself on a date. Choose an activity that you really enjoy. Plan it and do it. Unleash the creative person in side. Treat yourself to some JOY!

10. Move your body- The body is meant to move, that's why we have joints so move that body. Take a walk, put on your favorite music and dance your heart out!
