Prayer for Haiti

 We are asking people to say this prayer from Rev Pat Powers every day, two times a day if they have time.

Now let’s know together:

We turn within to the One Power and One Presence that is beyond all space and time-knowing this Power is Love, Kindness and Compassion.

No matter what is happening on the physical level, there is a perfection in Spirit. This perfection is the activity of pure intelligence finding its outlet through each one of us. I am claiming that the events in Haiti are a spiritual opening, a doorway, for the human heart to deepen its compassion, to touch into its real love and its power to circulate Good and to create wholeness where there appears to be brokenness.

I see this as a time to pour out our love and prayers and money and help to those in need…knowing that we are all truly one…Knowing that the mother in Haiti who mourns her child is our sister, our mother, our friend, our own…Knowing that the child who has been taken is not lost but is now bringing us together…Knowing that the father who seems to have lost everything, is not helpless, but able to co create a new life for his family…knowing that Spirit is right here and right there and although we do not deny the pain and suffering of those affected, we do affirm the immediacy of spiritual power and healing intelligence. We do affirm that a great good comes from this tragedy. We do affirm that 2010 is the year of living consciously and that humanity AWAKENS to the imperative to UNIFY as one family. We begin in our own Center, right here in Saint Louis and we know that our efforts ripple out and affect the whole world.

In Gratitude I say thank you God, thank you Life. And So It Is.
